A VERY BIZARRE FAMILY - present continuous
I give the first part to my pupils. They must make suppositions using BE + ING in order to find the missing information (a bizarre action, and a place in the house. ex: Maybe his father is cooking, I suppose his mother is dancing...).
I put the second part on the OHP, and each bold piece of information is hidden under a piece of paper. Everytime a pupil finds the right verb or room, I remove the paper, and they complete their paper.
When we have finished this activity, the pupil have to create another crazy family.
They love both activities! All the pupils want to find the right answer, so everybody participates!!
What is also interesting is that you can adapt this activity to other tenses or grammar points (I used it with the past simple and continuous).
HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!
