Advice Column: Dear Abby
A fun writing/speaking activity for a lesson about love or relationships. Students read the Ann Landers / Dear Abby letter, and write their own advice to the person with a dilemma. Then, hand out the actual "professional" responses for them to read, and see how it compared to their advice. They can discuss whether or not they agree with Ann or Abby, and debate about which response is better.
