Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

An activity to cut, paste and colour to work after the story "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?". This activity tests the memory of students and it helps to learn the colours and/or animals. It´s only possible to see 3 pages in the preview but the document has 6 when you download it!! (Instructions how to use the activity included!). As you can´t see them in the preview, here are the instructions: After telling the story “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”, give a set of cards to each student (page 1). The students should organize the cards as they appear in the book. Then they should glue them in each rectangle to build the original story (page 2 for younger students, page 4 for older students). The teacher re-tells the story slowly (or just says the colours and the correspondent animals) and: -The younger students colour in the cloud on their worksheets (the colour they listen from the teacher) – page 2; -The older students write the colour instead – page 4. If you print page 3 in the back of page 2 and page 5 in the back of page 4, students turn their worksheets and should draw 3 other things or animals the Brown Bear could also see. This is to add the colours orange, pink and grey, which don’t come up in the story. This also stimulates students’ imagination and creativity. The teacher should say the missing colours and help the students writing the thing/animal they choose. Students should colour the pictures accordingly at the end.
