ANIMAL GRAMMINOE
1. Arrange the class in small groups working around the table.
Explain the rules. Shuffle the cards and divide them between the pupils. Turn the last card over and place it in the middle of the table.
The one who starts puts a card next to the card on the table. It must fit with the picture or sentence logically. Encourage pupils to say the sentence as they put their gramminoes down.
The following player continues and repeats the process. If any player cannot put a grammino down then it is the next player’s turn.
The first child who runs out of grammino pieces is the winner. If no more gramminoes can be put down at any point in the game, the winner is the player with the least gramminoes in his or her hand.
