topics for debate
In this activity the class is divided into two groups. Each one of them is given one of the two sheets where there are several topics for debate. In some cases they will be told to defend the topic, while in others they´ll have to attack it.
The students should be given enough time to brainstorm ideas before the discussion begins.
This activity should last around 60 minutes or even longer, that depending on how argumentative your pupils are.
