This is the third of three rules definitively explaining how and when to use "the". It includes: - an exaplanation of the rule; - three activities for students. PLEASE NOTE: The 3 rules do not explain when "the" should not be used. An example of this is "I had to go to hospital" & "I had to go to the hospital." What¡¯s THE weather like in Switzerland? 6. My wife wants to go on vacation to Fiji but I can¡¯t afford it!
