Using Definite Articles - Rule 3
This is the third of three rules definitively explaining how and when to use "the". It includes: - an exaplanation of the rule; - three activities for students.
PLEASE NOTE: The 3 rules do not explain when "the" should not be used. An example of this is "I had to go to hospital" & "I had to go to the hospital." This will be covered in another worksheet.
