This is a memory game where the students have to find sentences in direct speech and their corresponding sentences in reported speech. You just have to cut out the cards and laminate them. If possible, mark the backs of the direct and indirect sentences with different colours. Like this they know that they have to turn a red and a green card. Otherwise it is very difficult for the students to remember the sentences. Since some of the sentences are very similar, the students have to think hard if they have really found the correct corresponding sentence.
