Role Play: Interview with Immigrants - Four Life Stories
This role play is divided into 3 parts representing a follow-up interview with immigrants (the 1st part takes place when leaving the country of origin, the 2nd - 2 years later and the 3rd - 15 years later). It contains 3 sets of questions for interviewers and 4 role cards for interviewees. The cards for interviewees give an outline of the immigrant´s life story (also divided into 3 parts - before the immigration, 2 and 15 years later). You should fold the interviewees´ role cards so that they would not see their whole life story from the very begining of the play but discover it step by step in the process (it makes the play more interesting and every step of it surprising). Encourage the interviewees to make up everything that is not given in their role cards.
