In groups, students use this handout to talk about a visit to the zoo using past simple: ´I saw... / The tiger had...´ and past continuous to talk about the animals´ actions: ´They were lazing in the sun / swinging from the trees´ and superlatives to describe which animals they liked / didn´t like and why: ´My favourite animals were the pandas, they were the cutest!´
