the path to be an effective teacher
This study explores whether there are differences between male and female’s beliefs in becoming an effective English teacher. Specifically it inquires the qualities of an English teacher by university students at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University students. The results are acquired with the help of a questionnaire which investigates the teacher behaviours in language teaching. They show us that although all of the properties are important in language teaching, some differences are seen between male and female students’ beliefs.
