Clown Bob Board Game (ANY TENSE adaptable )
Board game for practicing tenses, likes and dislikes, and/or can and can’t, etc (ungroup images to edit; text boxes could be edited w/out prep work).
Vocabulary: ride a horse, paint a picture, ride a unicycle (one wheeled bike), hop, do handstands, eat an ice cream, play with/hold a ball, carry a snake, walk a rope, fly, jump/play with a monkey, sleep, fight with a dog, climb a ladder, beat/play a drum, skate, wave good bye/go for a trip.
Suggested rules (also available on page 3):
You will need a regular die, markers or other place keepers, and either (1) cards on page 2 (edit according to your needs, for ex. replace words by questions: What will clown Bob do tomorrow, what did clown Bob do yesterday, etc.), or (2) tailored die with tenses/words you would like to practice (see http://www.toolsforeducators.com/dice/ )
Rules for option 1: a student rolls a regular die and takes a card from a pile (cards should be stored face down). He/she then tries to make a sentence using both the relevant picture on the game board and a word on the card.
Rules for option 2: a student rolls two dice together (regular and tailored one) (no cards are involved) and tries to make a sentence using both the relevant picture on the game board and a word on the tailored die.
