Irregular Verbs Reference Sheet
This sheet is used to help support learners in understanding the value of resources in order to help themselves learn. Students can use this chart to study and review some common irregular conjugations, putting the onus on them to use their resources to get their work done. It can be used in conjunction with the Power Point presentation Regular and Irregular Verbs. Our classes glued the charts into our notebooks. In addition, if you wanted to you could even conduct a mini-quiz to see if they can conjugate the verbs properly. A verb BINGO would also work nicely - get them to call out the conjugated tense of the verb in the square, or; a ball toss warm-up/cool down- the person who tosses the ball calls out a practiced irregular verb, the person who catches calls out the same verb in simple past.
