Choose the Correct Derivative Activity 2
This is the second in a series of Find the Derivative Activity that is designed to help English language learners recognize that many English words have different variations. Repeatedly engaging in this sort of exercise also helps learners to notice a pattern in those variations as it relates to the adding of various suffixes and prefixes to create the derivatives from the root word. Finally, it also helps them to see when it is correct to use the derivative of the root word, rather than the actual root word itself. Iīm glad to see the 1st derivative exercise was well received. More exercises coming in the future, but unfortunately all my files are written using Hangul 2005 (KOREAN WORD SOFTWARE) and I canīt just cut and paste from Hangul to MS Word so itīs a little time consuming.
