Why canīt the English teach their children how to speak?
This is a song from "My Fair Lady" (which you can find on YouTube) which Iīve redone with some different words. The point is to listen and first underline the different words, then the second time round write the correct word on the side. The "different words" are all logically possible in the song, so itīs an interesting exercise on comprehension and synonyms. The second page has the original version with the words the students should be finding in dark lettering.
Itīs a fun song, and the students usually get a kick out of it!
