Famous literature works´ first lines and titles for match play
This is a match game to play in class. You divide the class in two groups, one gets the titles of these famous literary works and the other group get their first lines, students have to search for their match pair.
Afterwards you can ask them to invent a good first sentence and title for an imaginary book (work in pairs), and this can be a contest, the most shocking starting sentence wins (tell them that a ood starting sentence must give us some hints about the plot of the book)
