Activity 1: Past simple + Prepositions of movement - Ss read the story of the Red Pirates and mark the route on the map. They mark the place of the buried treasure on the map with a cross (X). Activity 2: Read the descriptions of the pirates and match to the pictures. You can adapt the story / descriptions to your Ssī need. (eg. make it present continuous). Variation to activity 2 - give instructions on how to color the pirates. Enjoy!
