Comparing movie reviews - reading and discussing
Reading and discussing multiple reviews of the same film.
Each student (or pair) reads one review and prepares by answering the questions. Then join with others who have read different reviews and compare and contrast, possibly also with own opinions. ( - this lesson plan requires that you find the specific reviews of an interesting film, preferably one the class may have seen or at least heard of recently) It worked well with 16-17-year-olds.
