False Friends exercise
In many other European languages there are words whose forms are almost the same, yet the meaning is quite different from that of the English one. Eg: "aktuell" in German means "current", or "up-to-date", and the word "actually" means in German "eigentlich". Because of this phenomenon, ESL learners tend to just assume they know their meaning. These worksheets aim to make them very conscious of the differences in meaning.
