My Winter Vacation Story
This worksheet was compiled for the first lesson after winter vacation. Students are shown a PPT of various winter vacation activities and are asked to name them before the answer appears on screen.
"this vacation I..." ( went skiing, visited my grandparents, styed at home etc...)
The "My winter vacation Story" is then handed out. The worksheet is designed as a guided storytelling excercise in which students fill in the blanks to describe their experiences of vacation .I go through the worksheet with them and explain that they can select appropriate words from the vocabualry tables (1-4) at the bottom of the worksheet.
On the back of the worksheet students are requested to draw a scene from their vacation. At the end fo the lesson students describe the action happening in the drawing using key vocabulary terms.They also read their story out to the class.
