That´s nothing! I´ve got more and better!
It is a good pair-work activity for elementary or pre-intermediate students both kids and adults. The activity covers COMPARATIVE and SUPERLATIVE adjectives and CONVERSATIONAL GAMBITS of telling surprising news. The procedure is the following: Student A takes the blue card and starts boasting as in the given example: "I´ve got 4 cars! The are the fastest and the most modern. How many have you got?" Student B (with the green card) responds: "You must be joking! I´ve got 5 cars. They are faster and more modern than your cars!" The cliches are given in both cards, grammar issues are supposed to be thought at.
