Simpson imaginary family tree pair work
Pupils work by pairs (well, itīs a pair work, so...)
Each of them has a different sheet with missing elements (they have Marge and Homer in common).
They need to ask each other questiosn to fill in the blanks and get a complete family tree.
for instance :
who is Maggie? Maggie is Homerīs (youngest) daughter.
I always start this exercise with a very small family tree + names on the board,so, the whole class practise and know whatīs expected.
Whatīs needed ? The pupils need to know the genitive and the family vocabulary before doing this information-gap exercise.
...I know itīs not the real Simpsonīs family tree, for example Hugo is Bartīs evil twin brother... but itīs easier that way.
