How do you say " " in English? How do you spell " "?
"How do you say ___ in English?" and "How do you spell___?" are 2 questions every EFL/ESL student should know, and once they have learned them, they won´t forget. You should demonstrate the questions with some objects before the print(using a non-english word with the first sentence). Then students listen and repeat. Give them this print and have them ask you as a group, they listen, repeat and write. You could have them practice with easier vocabulary (they already know?) asking each other (example some flashcards of animals/fruits etc). I have used this with 8 year olds and it works.
