Travel Agents - Travel Planners
This is a team/pair work activity. You can change the travel agents to those around your school or make up your own. First students must find information about their given travel agent - address, opening hours. Then they must go and find something with the help of th travel agent that would accommodate Mr.Travelalot. When we used this, the students were incredibly keen to get out there speaking real English and to bring back lots of brochures and make an itinerary for me...
The final challenge is as a follow-up to this activity - to make their own brochure (again using info from the Net) to make their own brochure/pamphlet about their own country.
There are sheets for each of the 5 travel agents in my area. Of course, feel free to grab from google images and change to your own. Good luck!
