If you teach in Germany, youŽll find students that have difficulty distinguishing the pronunciation of the letters V, F, and W. V sounds like /f/, W sounds like /v/, and they have a tough time making the /w/ sound. Let them drill with some minimal pairs, then play BINGO. Split the class in half. Let one half act as callers while the other half plays. Then reverse the roles.
