Picture Composition: ´An Alien Encounter´. Based on a YouTube video.
This is a picture composition writing task, which is based on a short video (cartoon/animation) on YouTube. The link/URL is provided below.
In this task, students are asked to write a few sentences describing each picture. It is supposed to be a draft (students write in points form). After that, students will be asked to write a complete composition based on the draft they have written.
*For lower ability students, this worksheet can be the composition writing task itself, provided that students write in full sentences and not in points form).
Some vocabulary words are also included for students. They are only suggestions and students can choose whether or not to use them.
