This is a guided writing worksheet on inventions. Studnets need to fill in the table first (invtion, inventor, date of invention and use of the invention) then they can form sentences to write a short paragraph. You may need to provide short readings that include the former information for sutdents to find them and fill in the tables. You need also to model an example on how to turn the short answers in tables into sentences. You may need to go over the simple mechanics of paragraph writing; sentences are written after each other not each per line.
