You give students both handouts. On this one you have sentences referring to the different relationships and ties between the characters, from both Marge and Bartīs point of view.
This is basically to introduce vocabulary.
Once students figure out the meaning of the different words, they will have to draw their own family tree, and maybe even write sentences like the ones on this handout
