Soak Up the Sun Simple Future Worksheet
My students really enjoyed this lesson. The song is upbeat and the lyrics are easy to understand. First, I explained the bolded words to them, then we listened to the song once with pencils down. After the first listen, we listened twice while the kids filled in the blanks. After they were finished, each student was assigned a part of the song to sing. This was a fun way to combine listening, speaking, reading, and writing. They also liked telling each other to "Rock on!" for days after we did the lesson :).
