Copy this on the board:- ----------------------------------------------------------- Where’s Wally? Wally is not at work today. He is a very important person so we are all wondering where he is! Talk to everyone in the class to find out about his location! 1. Hawaii 2. His house 3. His parents’ house 4. The canteen 5. The hospital 6. Disneyland ------------------------------------------------------------ Students talk to everyone in the class and jot down clues of Wally´s whereabouts. After they are done, put them in groups of 3 and model the use of Can´t, might, must to express possibilty e.g. Wally can´t be at the canteen because the canteen worker hasn´t seen him today. They have to make as many sentences as they possibly can until allocated time is up. Ask the class to guess where he is: Disneyland
