Design your perfect vacation
I first presented a slideshow of my own vacation. Then I asked my students to please tell me where they would like to go.
Lesson Plan:
Review new vocabulary at the top: 5 mins.
Complete the sentences 15/20 minutes.
Question and Answer time: Asking individual students where they would like to go, etc. 15 mins.
Start a drawing of their perfect vacation but to be completed for homework.
This was used in a mixed ability classroom so the sentence structure and ability levels were varied. I asked for the picture to detail all the information from their answers. Where they went first, what they bought, how long they stayed etc.
