Measurements
This worksheet is a basic introduction to taking measurements. The students have to measure certain parts of their body and record their result. They also have to measure the size of their school basketball coart using the picture and numbers to help them. This worksheet is great for practicing numbers, giving directions and it gives the students the chance to go outside for a bit of fun. You will need a tape measure, for their body parts and some string for the basketball coart. Once the coart has been measured with the string, the students can measure the string by using their tape measure. The students can also compare their results with each other comenting on their size and their class mates size, therefor practicing and introducing comparatives.
