Activity for the present continuous (present progressive) using the song by Suzanne Vega "Tomīs Diner." The first part students have a list of verbs used in the song and must write them in the gerund form. Then they listen to the song as often as necessary to fill in the blanks, which are all with some form of present continuous. At the end there are a few questions about the songīs grammar.
