A Liarīs Game for the Communicative ESL Classroom
This "Liarīs Game" helps ESL students learn that language can be used not only to convey information, but can also be used to deliberately mislead. This raises all kinds of questions about how details help support veracity, even if untrue; the way language can distort and mislead, and how personal visual interaction affects how communication is received. Lots of fun too!
