Place value Mat-Tens and Ones
Print one for each student. Can use it as a mat for place values of tens and ones. Get each student to group manipulatives (eg. cubes, straws, toothpicks, rubber bands, etc) then place it on the mat in the correct places. Then teacher will go around to check.
For older students, can use cards instead of manipulatives to play this game. Give out 2 cards to each student. Student cannot see their card but randomly choose to place it into the ´tens´ and ´ones´ place on the mat. Then see who has the biggest number. Biggest number wins the game.
