English Practice Cards
I´m teaching grade seven students and I had a problem in which my students were using their mother tongue (Arabic), So I´ve used these cards to encourage them to talk in English. Even when they didn´t know the word, they were trying to explain it to me in any way. How to use the cards? Give each group in the class a number of cards, for example 6. Once you hear a member of any group talk in the mother tongue, take a card.The group with the biggest number of cards in the end of the class is the winner. These cards helped to reduce the noise in the class too.... Try them ..Hope you all the best ^_^.
