Lent and Father Ted (tv series)
This worksheet takes a look at Lent, Shrove Tuesday and gives a brief description of an episode of the tv series Father Ted. the series in questions is called ´Cigarettes, Alcohol and Rollerblading´ and takes a humorous look at the efforts of the three priests on Craggy Island trying to keep their Lenten promise. Students read the worksheet aloud and have to look up new vocabulary. We then watch the episode and they have to tell me orally what happened.
