Guessing Game: Would you like to...?
My students enjoyed this activity very much, they love guessing games. The teacher can set a theme like "What are you doing this weekend?" This vacation?" Or using the past " What did you do last weekend?" or future "What will you be doing next summer break?" They practice making questions like "Would you like to go swimming?" or "Are you going shopping this weekend".
The students should play it in pairs. Each one gets one board and secretly chooses one character. Let’s suppose that you want them to practice the future with going to:
Student A asks Student B: Are you going swimming this weekend?
Student B answers: Yes or No (according to the information from his character, he should look on his character’s columns ), if the answer is No, student A will know that student B can´t be any of the characters that have YES for swimming.
They questions continues until one of them can guess who was the character chosen by the partner
