The School Game
How to play this boardgame:
Easy: Throw the dice. Go forward. On a picture say the word. - Is it right? You stay there. – Is it wrong? Or don’t you know the word? Go back to the field where you’ve been in the round before. On a word you read it aloud. Then you move to the matching picture and stay there.
So you always jump forward and backward until you finally reach the finish.
More difficult: Can you make a little sentence?
E.g. : I read a book. / I sit on my chair. / The … is big/black/… / I’ve got 10 …. / The … is in (on, under, …) the … / I like my/your ….
The children like this game. If they play it with a partner they get a good opportunity of speaking.
