"I Love my Pet!" - (1st 45-minute-lesson of 2 and 2nd on thi series) Reading for Upper Elementary and Lower Intermediate Students
This is the first of 2 lessons on the topic PETS(2 Pages + B&W Version ). Reading tasks: After speculating about the text they are going to read (images, key words, parts of the speech, ..., students scan the text to find information to complete the table. Then, they do a T/F exercise with correction of the false ones, find the opposites and the equivalents for the given words and, finally, find examples in which the short form īs is used as the 3rd person sing. of verbs to be or have got or possessive case.
