There is/are in a bag
This activity card practices the use of there is/are and classroom objects. First you may show a bag of your own with real objects inside, using there is/are (there are 6 clips in my bag; there is one pair of scissors)Then students practice in pairs, trying to guess what their peers have in their bag. Is there a marker in your bag? yes, there is one marker in my bag.... etc. etc. You can even prepare small bags with the cut outs inside, to make it more real.
