Degrees of probability
Brazilian students frequently get confused about using must, may and might to express probability and I use this guide to clarify things. Iīve been getting good results and they no longer feel insecure using them. The major difficulty is that they donīt understand at the beginning that all of them are correct but we have to choose the one that fits perfectly the idea we want our listener to understand. In fact the theory isnīt important, the important thing is to give them a guide to feel secure using the verbs or theyīll keep using "can" all the time. Itīs possible but belongs to other of my guides... It contains some exercises to check it the students are feeling secure enough to risk on it...
