Fun with books Fun with books

Getting my students to read is one of my main aims. Discussing literature only in terms of plot, characters, setting, etc. tends to be quite dry occasionally. Instead, my students like to write books about the books they read - here are lots of ideas and writing tasks for your students. The kids either publish their own journals or contribute to a big class "book about their book", something to be truly proud of as a team.
