Transport and colour battleships
Students secretly mark 5 ships in their table. 1x3 squares, 2x2 squares, 2x1 squares. Keeping their sheet hidden they work with a partner. They take turns asking and answering their partner with A trying to find B’s ships before B finds A’s ships. A:-“Is there a ship in the square blue bus?” B:-“ Yes there is” or “No there isn’’t” Students use the “My Partner’s Board” to mark where they find their partner’s ships. They must also mark on their own board when their partner hits their ships and when all the squares are hit they must say “Destroyed”. The winner is the 1st person to destroy all their partner’s ships. This is a good practice once the students know the transport vocab.
