This is a nice old song, which works well written as a love letter. Students are first given the love letter as a reading activity, do some activities on it and then work in pairs (or independently) to write a reply. When they finish, students are told it is a song, and they can do a gapfill on it, before ending by singing the song to work on pronunciation.
