This reading is an easy reading structured in three tasks: 1. Pre-teach blocking vocabulary. 2. Global understanding of the text. 3. Intensive comprehension: Multiple choice.
There are other activities you can carry out instead of the third task: Read the text aloud and make mistakes, each time students listen a different word, they clap their hands (detailed listening); Read a word/sentence aloud and let your students to find it (scanning) the first one takes teacherīs role; Tell students to clap hands if they hear a "time" word, blink eyes if they hear a "day" word, stamp feet if they hear a "school subject" word....
