HOW TO GET THERE, ASKING DIRECTIONS, CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH
GREAT PRACTICAL WORKSHEET FOR THOSE TRAVELING TO ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES. A SAMPLE CONVERSATION BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE ASKING FOR DIRECTIONS TO AIRPORT, TRAIN, TICKET COUNTER AND FOR A RENTAL CAR. ALL CAPS,GOOD FOR MIXED GROUPS AND ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE STUDYING CONVERSATION ONLY. USUALLY SWITCH EACH SENTENCE WITH ANOTHER SPEAKER. CAN USE FOR TWO PEOPLE OR GO AROUND THE ROOM AND HAVE EACH SPEAK A SENTENCE.
CAN BE USED WITH MAP SHOWING THEM HOW TO GIVE DIRECTIONS.
I USE THIS WITH MY FRENCH CONVERSATIONAL STUDENTS IN PARIS, AND HAVE THEM READ IT ONCE EACH OUT LOUD, THEN PRACTICE WITH EACHOTHER SO I CAN CORRECT THEM. SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE AND EASY TO READ.
