My students (especially those with difficulties) find many words and expressions difficult to learn, spell and remember their meaning. So I give them an activity which I´ve found very useful and effective. Students make a list of English words they have "troubles" with and translate them into their language and back into English again as many times as possible. Students can practise this activity during the lessons or at home. I got this idea from a teacher who used to teach at the school I teach. maybe you know this acitvity or maybe you find it useful, too. Have a nice weekend. :)
