Countries - Card Game (3 pages with instruction how to play)
Instruction:
Play in groups of four or leave one set out if you have fewer students.
Students must not see each other’s cards.
They have to find their partners by asking questions like:
I’ve got a city. Have you got one? – Yes, I have. I’ve got London. (finding categories)
I’ve got a famous person. Have you got one? – No, I haven’t. I’ve got a city/a sight/food.
Another idea is to play by countries, but not categories.
This game is also good for making up groups of four for another activity in class.
Have a nice lesson.
