the Efficient Camper
Lesson Plan Title: The Efficient Camper
Procedure: First you hand out a copy of the different things you could bring for a camping trip (this could be pictures of the things you would bring in a camping trip), then you pre-teach you students what useful, essential and vital. Second, you group your students in pairs/teams and ask for a cool name for their team. Third, they have to list down 10 useful items, 10 essential items and 5 vital items. Then you let them imagine that they are all in the mountains camping with the things they decided to bring with them. Then each team would pick a situation card alternately. They have to read to the class and guess the camping thing to use. If their team has the necessary thing to solve the situation then they earn a point and it not then they loose a point, meaning they are dead. They died camping. The winner would be the team with most points.
