My Kind of Music
I originally wrote this short passage as a specimen piece of creative writing for my 16yr old English students (native speakers) but have adapted it for upper intermediate ESL students by adding 9 exercises: a pre-reading task (pair speaking), grammar exs. on adj/adv, antonyms, definitions and collocations, comprehension questions and an active/passive ex. Answers are on pgs 4 – 6, exercises resume on 7. Don’t know what happened! Sorry!
